“Kiler Road” by Soundwalk Collective & Jesse Paris Smith Featuring Patti Smith

По криволичещия затревен път към плажа 48-годишна жена кара велосипед за среща със сина си, когато получава сърдечен пристъп, пада, удря си главата и остава да лежи в безсъзнание. Минаващ след време шофьор на такси я открива и сигнализира в местната бърза помощ. Закарват я в болницата Cannes-Nistos, поставят диагнозата „топлинен удар”, а когато след няколко часа жената умира, става ясно, че диагнозата е грешна, защото откриват масиран мозъчен кръвоизлив.

Тази история едва ли би попаднала на първите страници на вестниците, ако не се разбира, че жената е германката NICO, родена в Кьолн, и е емблематична фигура от 60-те години на миналия век, любимата муза на Andy Warhol, кралят на поп-арта.

NICO, чието истинско име е Christa Pavloski (по-късно се преименува на Päffgen), е наричана „фатална жена и първа жрица на хипи движението“, има син от актьора Ален Делон, и именно към Ари Делон (на 25 г. тогава) се е запътила във фаталния ден.

Тя започва кариерата си като модел на 14-годишна възраст и между 1955 и 1960 г. живее и работи в Париж, пътувайки често до Ибиса, Италия и САЩ. Надявайки се да стане актриса, тя за кратко учи в школата Actors Studio на Lee Strasberg в Ню Йорк, за да я видим скоро след това в знаменития филм „Сладък живот“ („La Dolce Vita“) на Федерико Фелини. В Лондон я откриваме по-сетне с музикантите от Rolling Stones и с Bob Dylan, който на свой ред я представя на Andy Warhol. Под негово влияние NICO заминава за Ню Йорк, присъединява се към студиото Warhol s Factory и играе главна роля в култовия му филм „Chelsea Girls“ („Момичета от Челси“). Така стигаме да участието й във вдъхновената от Andy Warhol рок група Velvet Underground, с която през 1967 г. издава дебютния албум \"The Velvet Underground and Nico\", включен през 2003 г. сред най-значимите въобще рок албуми от изданието “Rolling Stone”. След поредица недоразумения обаче NICO напуска групата и започва солова кариера, в която намира съдействие от такива музиканти като Jackson Browne, Jim Morrison от The Doors, John Cale, Brian Eno и т.н.

Нейната трагична смърт става повод за изследване от международния проект за електронна музика SOUNDWALK COLLECTIVE в албума „KILLER ROAD“ („УБИЙСТВЕН ПЪТ“). STEPHAN CRASNEANSCKI, SIMONE MERLI и KAMRAN SADEGHI, към които се присъединяват популярната певица и поетеса PATTI SMITH и нейната дъщеря JESSE PARIS SMITH, представят звукова картина от Ибиса и говор с почит към творческата съдба на NICO, опит да се пресъздаде светът, в който тя живее през последните си години, нещо като хипнотична медитация върху идеята за вечното движение и цикъла на живота и смъртта. Албумът съдържа осем композиции с интерпретация на нейни текстове, взети предимно от станалите класически албуми като „Desertshore“ и „Drama of Exile“, подредени и прочетени от PATTI SMITH.

Албума „KILLER ROAD“, или „УБИЙСТВЕН ПЪТ“ ще чуем в предаването “Картини от една изложба®” на програма “Хоризонт” на БНР в събота, 22 февруари, след новините от 21.00 ч.
